thx for the work Mike. I should expose my bias to also of course be funded by DAML and of course also be on Webont so it makes sense that I would support the position Mike proposes - giving priority to extending semantic web ontology languages with rules. I think even if I did not hold those positions and funding though, if i took a pragmatic approach of looking for a path likely to gain the greatest acceptance more quickly - i would also choose that route. yes - lets discuss it today. thx, d Mike Dean wrote: >We'll have our weekly telecon today (July 29) from 4-5pm >EDT, 1-2pm PDT, and corresponding times in other locations. > >The dial-in numbers are > > U.S.: 866-779-0774 > > outside U.S.: +1-334-309-0263 > > After dialing, enter *7289913* (including stars) > > If you're asked, the chairperson is Mike Dean > >A parallel logged IRC session will be available on the >#joint-committee channel at irc.daml.org (see >https://www.daml.org/irc/ for the server password). > >Below is a draft agenda; additions are welcome. > > Mike > >agenda updates/additions > >announcements > >minutes deferred > >Semantic Web Rule Markup Language Requirements [1] (Mike, et >al - 50 min) > >next week > > rule semantics > >upcoming week > > rule syntax, including QNames [2] and datatypes > > >[1] http://www.daml.org/listarchive/joint-committee/1413.html > >[2] http://www.daml.org/listarchive/joint-committee/1408.html > >
