Some of you may have already heard that I was recently diagnosed with
advanced colorectal cancer.  I started 5 1/2 weeks of pre-operative
chemotherapy and radiation last Wednesday.  I expect to continue to work on
a reduced schedule during treatment.

The current plan is to follow chemo and radiation with about 4 weeks of
recovery and then surgery, possibly followed by another round of chemo.

Everyone has been very supportive.  I'm particularly grateful to be close to
family and the University of Michigan Medical Center here in Ann Arbor.
