question for daml api.

Hi,

 Could I build a graph(tree) from an existing DAML file using DAML API only? I 
know I could do it through the function toRDFModel()and get the Model instance 
as the root of the graph. But then I need RDF API to do the following task 
like getting all the elements and properties. Could I get the root of the 
graph(tree) which is an instance of defined class in DAML API instead of RDF 
API? Thanks,
