Importing Ontologies

Dear helper,

I see that DAML+OIL has provided <daml:imports> property to list an
imported ontology.  However, when we refer to any definition in the
imported ontology, we are still required to use its declared namespace.

So, what is the point of listing the imported ontologies using the
<daml:imports> element?
