    You are probably aware of the work on an RDF Geo Vocabulary...

    It is simple and just relates to points specified by Lat/Long/Alt - but 
    even that can be very useful. A similar simple lat/long/alt specification 
    is proposed in the Jabber XML instant messaging/presence extensions related 
    to geographical positioning (JEP-0080) - See
