10 January 2002

- Updated new-operation-ont.daml and added supporting ontologies.

20 December 2002

- Created new-operation-ont.daml which will eventually replace
operation-ont.daml.
- Added properties to store AHP pairwise comparison values.

- Changed status to one of three Status instances (operational,
degraded, and non-operational).
- Added Direct/IndirectEffect as subclasses of Effect.
- Added source-ont.daml which associates data source(s) with
individual DAML statements. (note: this is separate from the source
file that a statement is stored)

19 September 2002
- Added target-ont, which defines target characteristic.  These
classes are used to assign characteristics to ENP classes (see
enp-characteristics.daml).  
- Created entity-ont and unit-ont to describe entities and their unit
resources.  Units are able to engage targets with specific
characteristics. 
- The operations ontology was changed to link to supporting entities.
- unit, unit-status, and entity define some sample instance data.

2 July 2002
- Added new DoD agency classes and parentAgency property.
- Expanded the label values of most Agencies.
- Added additional NIMA based Classes to ENP ontology.

21 Jun 2002

- When incorporating external resources, we now add a new type
  to the external resource instead of adding it's existing type
  to the ENP ontology.  
- Begun to import elements from the NIMA database.
- Added more classes to support data from NIMA database.
- Added *Facility classes under each of the six main ENP classes 
  in order to place some more of the NIMA elements.
- Added properties and Class to define the effects an element has
  on another element.
- Added leadNation and contributingNation to Operation class.
- Other minor(?) changes and bug fixes.

- Made some changes to the Elements of National Power ontology.
  Primarily in the military sub-tree.

- Changed references to the (correct) FIPS country ontology.
- Made default namespaces explicit in a few files in order to get
  around a bug in the .NET/RDF parser.

- Was briefed on SONAT changes by Mark Wilcomb.
- Created separate directory on CVS for the ontology files that support
  the stable demo.  [CVSROOT/daml/experiment/ontology/demo/]
- Created separate directory on the website for the development ontology
  files [http://www.daml.org/experiment/ontology/beta/].  Updated URIs
  in the affected files.
- Removed the value properties from elements-ont.daml
- Split the ENP sub-hierarchies into separate files:

   infrastructure-elements-ont.daml

- Changed class NationalGoalsAndObjectives to GoalsAndObjectives
- Added enp:NotionalCountry Class with a derivedFrom property.  To
  support operation specific views of a country's ENP data.
- Replaced our Country object with the iso3166 (FIPS) country object.
- Added RedAssessment class to the options ontology and renamed the
  file assessment-ont.daml.  Changed effect property to impact.
- Updated ENP hierarchy.
- Created Class and instance data for CINCs, Agencies, and Operation
  Types.  These can be used to generate menus.
