RDF Core datatype proposals

  compatibility of proposals S and P with DAML+OIL

  joint committee and web ont have been asked to provide feedback on
  especially the s proposal.

  s would not allow you to state things the same way you do in xml.
  That would make the documents not being valid rdf ...

  in order to be viable it has to be careful to not use data type
  names as names of classes / properties in rdf.

  Jeff: would it still allow you to use data types as domain and range
  constraints?  No.

  Mike: goal of putting data types in is to make the interpretation
  self contained.

  Talking about value spaces being disjoint ... I got lost on this one

  worries about XML compatibility
  
  Peter: easiest proposal to accomodate is the "u" proposal

  Mike: what do we want to say to rdf:core

  Pat: if you have strong feelings, speak up to the rdf:core group.
