	Three main reasons why questions are being asked. 
	
		railroaded?

		research or ready to be standardized?
	
		chicken / egg relationship with rdf / webOnt ...should
		we wait until rdf is done to start webOnt or do webOnt
		now to give feedback to rdf?

	being approached by people in member organizations about
	wether it should start / what is it / etc.

	if someone high up from RDF Core could say that the WebOnt
	thing won't take away staff from them that might put some
	worries to res.


committee membership additions

	  Mike makes a motion to invite Benejamin Grosof and Richard
	  Fikes and Harold Boley ... motion granted :)

	  Jim Hendler passes the baton to Murray Burke as the
	  government rep. ... passed

	  Motion to invite Jim Hendler as a member not a gov. rep.
	  ... passed.

	  member updates on webpage (to include alumni?).  Need to
	  have a w3c rep to keep an eye out on this.  Perhahps Sandro?

	  Lynn: specific actions need to be taken in order to get W3C
	  involvement.  Perhaps PM tell MIT to participate.  Or
	  perhaps the committee produce something concrete enough that
	  the W3C would want to / feel comfortable participating.

	  DAML-S participant?  Didn't get done but will be worked on
	  this week.  Ora will talk to the group.

Is it the decision of the committee to have Peter submit DAML+OIL to
the W3C.  Peter will send the document around, then submit it to
Lucent.

Strawman DAML+OIL Query Proposal

	 Look at this for next week.

	 Don't focus on the syntax. 

Differences in the axiomatic semantics

	    Some theorems that weren't true ... 

	    Numbering schemes are more robust...

	    Extractor took out the theorems / axioms into a loadable
	    file.
