Approach

We process the ujtlt40, ujtlc40, and ujtll40 tables found in the nllsson.db database contained in version 6 of the Navy Instructional Input Program (NIIP) using a custom program gendaml.java. The resulting DAML uses the TaskList-ont (dumpont) and Condition-ont (dumpont) ontologies developed by DRC.

We originally generated the complete set of Joint and Naval Tasks, but found that the UJTL task descriptions stored in the database itself were truncated to 255 characters. DRC's UJTL (HyperDAML) is more complete, anyway.

DRC developed the UJTL ontologies and artifacts discussed above.
