if you have information that's already in XML, it's very easy to use XSLT to generate DAML+OIL
- example: gendamlo.xsl used to generate tools.daml from tools.xml
personal opinion: XML and RDF(S)/DAML+OIL compete in some respects, but an organization that has gone to XML has probably completed 80% of the work to go to DAML+OIL
