• started in November 2001; first face-to-face meeting in January 2002
  • currently working on use cases and requirements
• WebOnt Charter
  • good summary of Semantic Web technical issues
  • DAML+OIL (March 2001) is the starting point for the Ontology Web Language (OWL)
  • rules are specifically out of scope
    • may be addressed by a future working group
